Hi all I spent the afternoon at the picnic/bbq area in the above park. Whilst not specifically birding... - 2 Striated Herons flew downstream under Roseville Bridge. - A Brown Goshawk seen several times circling over the Roseville side, generally annoying the cockatoos. - I had very close up views of a female Superb Lyrebird feeding in a stream bed right next to the picnic area - it looked like she was eating small white flowers that had fallen onto the ground - she was not at all fussed by my presence - in fact when I whistled gently to see what she would do, she came closer - not sure my singing's up to much compared to her suitors though!
