Most unusual for me was seeing an Eastern Reef Egret catch and eat a
silvereye at Green Island, off Cairns.

I have also seen a Kookaburra beating aBlackbird against a branch to either kill it, or tenderise it forobvious consumption. I would be interested to hear from other birdo's on their sightings of birds eating birds (other than the raptors etc)."I hope this is not a macabe interest in death that i'm developing" Regards to all, Col Colin Judkins =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line)to: =============================== ============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line)to: ============================ =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
