Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo nr Brisbane

Today (30 July 2006), Chris Lester, Marie and myself recorded a pair of
Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo between Atkinson's Dam and Lockyer Waters (near
the 'Blue-boot' campground) whilst searching (in vain) for Ground
Cuckoo-shrikes. Chris picked-up their calls whilst passing in the car.

This is the closest sighting that I have had to Brisbane in the past 19
years.
