Hi all,

To anyone planning to go bird watching or traveling through the
Werribee/Avalon areas (Victoria) please keep an eye out for a seriously
injured Wedge-tailed Eagle. The bird had stepped into a rabbit trap and
is flying around with the trap attached to its leg. If you see any
Wedge-tailed Eagle, whether flying, perching or on the ground, try to
get a close look at both legs/feet. This bird needs to be rescued as
soon as possible. If you see the bird please ring Mandy from Wildlife
Victoria direct on 0421471007. Please take the number with you. The bird
was last seen near Avalon Raceway.

Cheers, Paul.
