Graham and I were wondering if it's worth organising a Sydney region Twitchathon. Nothing too fancy, probably only bragging rights up for grabs. I've been thinking further about it, and for the CBD/Inner Sydney dwellers it would be nice to level the playing field a little, make a contest of it. Perhaps we could limit the Sydney area to the edge of the Mountains, or generate a formula that multiplies the bird by a distance from the CBD co-efficient to reduce the numbers. Any opinions? I say we pick a day in September, twitch away and then compare results online here. Any takers? -- Evan Beaver Lapstone, Blue Mountains, NSW lat=-33.77, lon=150.64 =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
