235 !! Surely this has to be the record twitch for Ozland.
Even Dion came back from Russia to get it.
Excellent job in keeping tabs on this Rohan.

Hi All,
Just a reminder that I am still collating a list of those that have seen
the
Grey-headed Lapwing. The tally is over 235 successful birders now and
still
rising. Quite an amazing event in Australian birding thanks to Karen and

Brett Davis' find! The tally is almost certainly missing a number of
birders
who do not subscribe to birding-aus so if you know of such people who
may
have been at any time since the bird was found I'd be keen to hear from
you.

Harry Clarke and I are interested in looking at the financial return to
communities such as Burren Junction by birders. We have a short
questionnaire (13 questions) that I've been sending to respondents. If
you
have not received a questionnaire and would like to, please email me.
The
more completed questionnaires we get the more confidence we will have in
the
results.

Even if you don't want to deal with a questionnaire I'm still very keen
to
add everybody to the tally as the total number of visitors will be an
important component to any calculations.

Thanks to those that have posted updates to birding-aus or responded
directly to my previous requests.

Regards,
Rohan Clarke
