Apologies for the previous message below. I partly prepared it at Burren
Junction on Saturday but was unable to send it then. The message escaped as
I unsubscribed today.
The sign-off was meant to read:-
John, Trevor, Hazel & Bill.

        However, the part about the Major Mitchell's on Friday was correct. 
Through
the same section on the way back only one group of about 8 birds were seen.

The bird was seen today across the road from the silos between 11.30am and
2.00pm.
Yesterday, between Wilcannia and Cobar, about 110 Major Mitchell Cockatoos
were seen in a 20km stretch, in groups of up to about 30.
