Hi Geoff

You will probably get many replies, but Brown extends West to about
Deniliquin area, certainly is in Wagga Wagga. Inland extends East probably
to about Wagga Wagga, I'm not sure of sightings there. So either could be
seen in Deniliquin and probably also in Wagga Wagga, but Inland not at
Tumut.

These lbj's (little brown jobs) certainly are difficult to ID, calls usually
help. I think of the Inland as having much stronger streaking on the throat
and breast, at least in the areas you were in.

Hi all

During my trip to Oz a couple of months back, I spent some time in the Wagga
Wagga area, Tumut and Deniliquin. When I got back home, I was browsing some
literature when I realised that I might just have seen Inland Thornbill.
What I haven't been able to establish is where Inland Thornbills start &
Browns stop, or do they overlap ? I'm afraid my literature isn't too up to
date as far as ranges are concerned. Could I have been in the Inland
Thornbill range in the above places ?

Thanks for any help you might be able to shed on this subject.

Cheers
