The Red-backed Kingfisher was seen again late today (Tues 27/6) near the site
described on the Birds Queensland website http://birdsqueensland.org.au/

We saw the bird briefly in a large dead tree in the paddock at the n-e corner
of Lyndhurst Rd and Wattlebrae Rd, but it was chased off almost as soon as we
saw it by a Black-shouldered Kite. It then stayed sitting on a short post just
inside the fence enclosing the first house on the right hand side of Wattlebrae
Rd.
