Just back from 9 days in Central Australia. Beautiful part of the country.
Thanks to everyone who gave me informaiton, sites, contacts etc. Dipped on
about half of targets - Little Buttonquail, Diamond Dove ( but saw quite a few
Peaceful), Spotted Nightjar (didn't look to much, too cold out at night),
Rufous-crowned Emu-wren, Spinifexbird (Santa Teresa Rd in bad nick at time so
couldn't drive it) Chiming Wedgebill, Banded Whiteface, Grey Honeyeater,
Grey-headed honeyeater

Heard but failed to see Red-browed Pardalote & Ground Cuckoo-shrike. Did get
to see Black-breasted Buzzard, Spinifex Pigeon, Dusky Grasswren, Redthroat,
Slaty-backed Thornbill, Grey-headed Honeyeater, Western Bowerbird & Painted
Finch. Major highlight of non-target species was a flock of 30 Bourke Parrots
on Hamilton Downs Rd (Kunoth Bore site). Will wirte up trip report soon.
Cheers.
