Re sparrows disappearing, I observed a flock of 60 to 70 Sparrows in the local park this morning. I could not get any closer than about 70 Metres. Don't know if they are travelling through as have not seen them before. They will probably be chased away by the many Magpies and Pied Butcher birds!!
