"Indian Ringneck" is a name that could be applied to either of two species (as an alternative to their regular names). These are: The Barbary Dove (Streptopelia risoria) or far more likely the Rose-ringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri). Both are non native very common cage pet or aviary birds in Australia and both can form feral colonies if allowed to, although it doesn't appear to have happened (much if at all) in Australia.
