Colin,I am with you 100%. Whatever level of accommodation a person uses when they travel is completely their business and nobody else's. I do not think there is any imperative, legal or moral, to spend as much of ones hard earned funds as possible in every location one visits. I would certainly be in the bad books with Philip, as I now use a camper-trailer and can live independently for nearly 3 weeks when I go birding.
