Hi all, Someone wanted to know where Judith and I saw the Red-Rumps in the inner west.It was on the Cooks River across Unwins Bridge from Tempe railway station, off Bayview avenue. There is a sports oval in the park(I think its called Gough Whitlam park) and a group of 6-8 birds has been feeding there over the last couple of weeks. In the warmer months there were upwards of 20.Usually spot them late afternoon. Also saw a royal spoonbill and a pair of darters last week after all that rain.It is quite a nice walk along the river there. Cheers Sean. ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
