Hi All, Drove to Dayboro after work this afternoon to check out the Red-backed Kingfisher found by Judith Lukin-Amundsen at the weekend. The bird was very easy to find perched on fence-posts in the new sub-division. I've posted a (greatly enhanced) image on the ABID on http://www.aviceda.org/abid/birdimages.php?p=7&action=birdimage&bid=92&fid=15&pagesize=1 Sadly, though it will allow reasonably close views it has the usual 'aversion' to my camera. If anyone requires directions please email me directly. Tom PS: Big thanks to Judith for letting us know about it! -- ******************************** Tom & Marie Tarrant Samsonvale, Qld http://www.aviceda.org ******************************** =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
