Depending on how mobile you are, and where you are staying...
Check out Centennial Park - an easily acessible public parklands in the
eastern suburbs, 10 minutes from Sydney CBD.
If getting more adventurous (and c'mon, driving on left ain't all that
difficult), try the Royal National Park on the southern outskirts of
Sydney, Ku-Ring-Gai National Park on the north-eastern edge of the city,
or Lane Cove Park - tucked in behind Chatswood/Willoughby on the North
Shore. All are rich bird environments within easy access from downtown
Sydney
