Osprey at Port Fairy, Victoria

Hi Rohan,

I am very interested in your Osprey observation.  Was it seen closely enough 
to determine whether or not it was carrying colour bands.  A bird that I 
colour-banded near Maclean, North Coast NSW was firstly photographed at 
Narrabeen Lake near Sydney and more recently at Tabourie Lake on the NSW 
South Coast.  It would not be impossible for a colour-banded Osprey from the 
north coast of NSW to reach Victoria.
