My understanding is that the ecologists went back in march and were
unsuccessful in relocating the parrots. They did seven days of pre-dawn and
post-sunset listening, spotlighting after midnight, mist netting plus use of
other traps.
It was after heavy rains.
I believe they are going back in October when it's dried out a bit more.

Hi all,
While trailing the internet I located a reported sighting of three Night
Parrots in north-western WA. The sightings were during a fauna survey for a
proposed mine...so one might hope that the observers were experienced.
Has anyone heard anything about these sightings? any comments?
Apparently there were unconfirmed sightings at the same location in 2004.
