Hi birders, it looks like the Scarlet-chested Parrots are back at Gluepot!

Unfortunately for those wanting to twitch them, we've just had about 25mm of
rain today and it's still raining. I have just spoken to the rangers and the
tracks are unpassable for normal vehicles. In my experience it takes at
least 24 hours for the puddles to reduce in size sufficient for 4wd's to
pass without causing too much damage to the tracks, and we're talking 3-4
days as a minimum for 2wd's to be able to get in again.

I'm thinking of heading out there on Sunday if conditions allow it and will
report back.
