To all who offered info about the owl roosting near the museum - "Thank
You".
I made my day trip to Sydney yesterday, but unfortunately, I missed the owl by about a week - apparently, it has not been seen back at the Museum since Thursday last week! Martin Robinson from the Museum told me of another which had been roosting in North Sydney, but when I rang the person who had reported it, it too had not been back for around 3 days. Dipped on both counts - sigh! Thanks anyway, for all the info., and I'll probably be in touch again just before I next come to Sydney for latest reports.
