I've just returned from Norfolk Island to see my 700th bird. John Reidy was there the week before and I saw him as he was leaving. I won't go into a lot of detail as there are excellent comprehensive reports available on the archives, suffice to say my wife and I had a fantastic time. Norfolk Island is a really interesting place from a historical, cultural and birding perspective. Birding highlights were: * The three endemics- Red-crowned Parakeet (2 seen around the aviary on different occasions), Grey Warbler 9everywhere ) =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
