I attended the Birding NSW camp at Captains Flat over the weekend. On the way down I saw several thousand Yellow faced Honeyeaters. The first group of several hundred was seen at the junction of Narellan Road and the M5. (about 35km south west of Sydney) Between Bungendore and Captains Flat we saw a flock of thousands in an avenue of hawthorn bushes.
