Hi,
l am an honours student currently studying at Monash University, Clayton campus (Melbourne) about to commence a Conservation based project on Red-rumped parrots in urban Melbourne during the non- breeding season. The project is purely observational, and is focused on abundance, foraging behaviour and interspecific aggression. The study is being undertaken in the hope of gaining some understanding as to why birds have shifted into urban Melbourne and are continuing to do so. l am currently locating sites and would appreciate any feedback on urban Melbourne locations where Red-rumped parrots have been seen over previous Autumn-Winter non-breeding periods.
Thanks
Helene Lowry
