Hello everyone

Tom Tarrant has kindly posted some photos of the Little kingfisher that flew into the window of the North Mission Beach bottleshop on ABID at www.aviceda.org  Thanks Tom.  The photos were taken by Perry Harvey.

Adrian tells me that, when the bird was released, it flew perilously close to a sea-eagle.

One other point, Adrian wasn't at the bottleshop.  He and wife Sally own the "Wild Things" shop a few doors down where birding-aussers are always welcome to browse and get the local birding gossip!

Yours in sobriety
Andrew
