I live in Glen Waverley, and while it's probably not very exciting for most people we've had the Rainbow Lorikeets return over the past month. They return every year while the gums/eucalypts are flowering and usually stay until Autumn or early Winter. This year we've had lots of visitors as in past years we've always had cats, and our last of our cats died last year. Over this weekend we've had about 10-20 Rainbows eating out of feeder and bathing in our water baths that we've provided. Also we had a couple of Eastern Rosellas feeding, the first ever that I've seen in our garden. Then tonight, we saw a pair of small birds either Wrens or Thornbills of some sort, I think they were Wrens. Couldn't see any color so they weren't Superbs. However this was the first siting of birds of this size in our garden for 20 years. So I'm quite excited.

Regards
