Hi All, On our regular Wednesday outing a rare bird for this area was recorded yesterday the Striped Honeyeater, and this morning the fluted call of the Pied Butcherbird,( another rare bird for here) greeted me at my front door and there it was sitting on a power pole. Both of them just outside the County boundary I'm sorry to say. At Bushells Lagoon there were 36 Pacific Golden Plovers the highest number I have ever recorded any where in the Hawkesbury.
