You could be right. I did notice it's "thick"
thick-knees but I dismissed it at the time.

That reminds me of the Far Side cartoon where the
tribesmen see two guys approaching and yell out
"Anthropologists!...Quick, hide the VCR" and race around
concealing TV's, fridges, phones etc.
