Godwits are often seen at some of the good wader roosts around Western Port, e.g.Reef Island, Bass and observation Point, Rhyll (on Phillip Island). I've also seen them from the Toora birdhide on Corner Inlet. Bar-tailed are more common, but Black-tailed can alos be present. Elizabeth Shaw Phillip Island |
