Not sure I understand the reason for the question. I would have thought any number of Australian Species could be expected to take dead or injured animals. I have personally seen a family (my assumption) (adults &young) of Wedge-tailed Eagles attacking a sheep carcass. It took them about 3 days to clean all the meat off the bones and by the look of the sheep there was more feed on the way.There was no competition
