There were 4 Glossy Black-Cockatoos (two males and two females) in our street all day today feeding together in Allocasuarina torulosa. At 2.45 this afternoon 6 Sulphur-crested Cockatoos flew into the tree causing the Glossies to fly into the gully below the street. The ScC’s started feeding on the Sheoak cones but gave up after 15 minutes and flew away. The Glossies immediately returned to the tree and were still there this evening at 7.30 when I went out to a restaurant.
