Hear hear. I've tried a pair at the Birding Shop, the 10 x
42's. At around $700 I thought they were sensational. Also a
strange, almost perverse satisfaction in using a relatively harmless
product made by the gun company! Show yourself, you wretched bird,
or I'll zap you with my Browning's! Having said that, Bausch &
Lomb make a very good pair of 10 x 40 roof prisms for well under a
thousand, also available from the Birding Shop (which opens again for
business on Tuesday). Cheers, Geoff.
