Hi all,
It takes a bit longer than I expected to finish a trip report of our last
year trip to Australia. I hope to be able to finish it soon (if no other
holydays interfere).
But to compensate a bit I started uploading photo albums including
slideshows of parts of the trip. The first part is now uploaded and is about
our trip to Tasmania exactly a year ago. There's a good deal of bird pics
present. Please visit my website (www.splatzone.nl section "trip
reports/Australia 2004 20005" or by the "Australia slide shows" link on the
home page.
If anybody happens to known the name of the flower I photographed at
Melaleuca or the name of the moth that is also present in the show I would
be more than happy to hear about it!
I hope to upload more albums about southern Australia, the Mallee, the
eastcoast, Lady Elliot Island and older trips to Darwin and Cairns,
including a good deal of bird pics, within the next few weeks.
May'be Also interesting is the new feature "Photo index" with all the bird
photos that are published on my webside including a whole bunch of
Australian and New Zealand birds. A few of these are not yet published in
any of the trip reports.
many greetings from a dark and cold Holland
Simon Plat
