Hi all
I've just heard via a science teachers' mailing list that Nature
Australia magazine is likely to be closed down:
A meeting of the Museum Trust in Sydney tomorrow night is expected to
vote to close Australia's second-oldest magazine.

If you want to write to the director of the Australian Museum you
will obviously need to be quick about it. You can send a message to
the Director, Frank Howarth, via their website - look for the link at
the bottom of the page.

Let's hope enough people can convince the Trust to retain this
important publication and not put financial considerations ahead of
scientific enquiry and reporting.
