Hi,
Today I photographed a Victorian Flagged Bar-tailed
Godwit among 40 Godwits.

Also another Godwit with a metal ring on right upper
leg, Common Tern(1st time seen in Penrhyn), a Crested
Tern, 4 Curlew Sandpipers, 1 lone Red Knot, 3
Sharpies, Several Pacific Golder Plovers.

Red Knot always feeds actively. It could be on its way
to south. Does Red Knot stay in NSW throughtout the
summer?

No Little Tern sighted today although 2 was seen
roosting on the sand bar on 13 Nov 2005. and earlier
23 Oct about 10 were counted.

I will report to Clive Minton separately on the
flagged Godwit.

Regards,
Tun-Pin Ong
St Leonards
