I was also recently in Singapore for a few days returning from my trip to

I noticed some large raptors flying very high in the sky over the Singapore
Botanic garden.

Both birds were dark and Eagle size with feathered wings; both were seen
about 10 am.. The first bird, seen on the 15th November 2005, was almost
totally black with some faint paler markings where primaries join secondary.
Greater Spotted Eagle?

Second bird, seen on 18th November 2005 was wide tailed and winged. Tail and
back of wings was dark grey, body and front of wings were black. Changeable
Hawk Eagle?

Please comment or make other suggestions.
