I had 8*42 DCF WP for around 6 years and they were pretty good - don't know the SP though. Just upgraded to Zeiss which feel lighter (but they aren't - guess they are better balanced). I wear glasses and found the eye relief fine in the Pentax.

However, I'm sure that different binos suit different people - they've got to feel 'just right' in YOUR hand and suit your eyesight.
