More White-throated Needletails today (4th Nov), this time over the Western Suburbs of Brisbane - Kenmore to be precise.  About 20 individuals, scanned very closely for Fork-tailed Swifts to no avail.  They were down at treetop level, lots of cloud and heavy drizzle.  My first WTNT on this side of town.

I was interested to see large numbers of White-throated Needletails
over Brisbanes southern suburbs this morning. From my home at
Calamvale all the way into the CBD ( about 20 kilometres) I could see
them virtually all the way in good numbers.  Weather was fine, with
some cloud, but certainly no significant storm front present..
