Further to Bob's comments about Hattah, I was up there last weekend and
experienced heavy rain on Saturday. Lake Lochie is full and brimming with
waterfowl - musk ducks, pink-eared, etc, Ospreys were also seen nearby. Regent
Parrots are nesting in the lake Hattah camping ground along with yellow
rosellas, apostlebirds and choughs.

Saw a pair of Chestnut Quail Thrush near the Nowingi Toxic Dump Site
(proposed). Also Malleefowl along the road from Hattah to the park entrance.
