This season has started off like the last couple in Glebe - I'm hearing
CBCs once or twice a week. It used to be only once or twice a year.
Heard a Sacred Kingfisher calling this morning at dawn in Annandale
near the light rail station so maybe its nesting. I've assumed all
the Sacred Kingfishers I've seen previously in inner Sydney were just
passing through.
I was woken at 1:30am by a mosquito and I could hear a Wily Wagtail and
female Koel both calling in the silence.
