Hello all
Yesterday morning I was at Tinchi Tamba Wetlands (northside of Brisbane,
Queensland) with an American visitor when a bird flew into a tree about
30
metres away. It was partly obscured by foliage and as I focused on it,
a
blue dart swooped from above hitting the bird which plummeted about 15
metres to the ground. We walked over and eventually found a now very
dead
Common Myna in some dense cockspur understorey. The Sacred Kingfisher
sat
not far away eyeing us off.
Could this this be the solution for Common Myna control?
