Hi birding aussers,

The 2005 Birds Australia Annual Congress & Campout is just a few days
away! You are invited to come to Bendigo in the spring, for the latest
ornithology, the birds, the wildflowers, the history, to meet friends
old and new, and to enjoy great food and wine in the company of like-
minded people.

Although interest in the conference has been extremely high, there is
still plenty of room available for new registrations. You should have
received a registration form in the last edition of Wingspan. They are
also available on our web site at
http://www.birdsaustralia.com.au/congress

If you are unable to register before hand you may also register
directly at the conference on Saturday and Sunday.

The scientific program will be held in the McKay Lecture Theatre,
Bendigo Campus, La Trobe University, Saturday and Sunday, 1st and 2nd
October. The campout is held from Monday 3rd till Friday 7th October,
and is based at the Gold Nuggett Tourist Park, Midland Highway, Epsom,
Bendigo.

All enquiries and bookings for both events can be made with Bendigo
Tourism on 1800 813 153. They are expecting your inquiries, so inform
the operator that you are attending the Birds Australia Congress &
Campout. If you have any general queries please contact Dr Doris
Graham, the Conference Convenor, on phone (03) 9482 2112 or email

I look forward to seeing you in Bendigo this weekend.

Cheers,

Tim
