Hi Bill et al.

I'm often at the Childrens' Farm in Abbotsford on the weekend with my kids - right next door to the convent.  I nearly always see the flock of 30-40 YTBCs come over the bushland ridge and Yarra and fly downstream at some stage of the day there - usually just before midday.

Where I live in Alphington is about 100m from the Darebin Creek, and I routinely see YTBCs moving to and from the Darebin corridor behind to the Yarra/Merri direction out the front.  There are some conifers near home that the YTBC occasionally lob into - so I can be serenaded by their chortling as I slave away in the kitchen :-)

I think the largest YTBC group I've seen between Abbotsford and Alphington so far is about 50 birds.

L.
