I saw a single Swift Parrot in the Araucaria Walk at Enoggera Reservoir in The Gap today. The single bird came down low to drink, at the edge of the dam in a sheltered spot. It was chased away by Bell Miners but it then sat upright clinging to a low branch for several minutes. at the edge of the track. I had excellent views/ Tim Murphy -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
