Spam is something we have to live with and manage,
like it or not, although I do know a couple of people who get none. At one stage
I was getting well over 100 per day, and had done nothing to cause it apart
from being on about 8 mailing lists. I used Mailwasher to deal with it, time
consuming but effective, but then enabled the free spam filter provided by
my ISP and the flood stopped to a trickle, with only the odd one or two
getting through. I have it set to an aggressive level, but to my knowledge have
never lost a valid message. It is now a non issue for me. Duncan
Fraser.
