Chris: Could it have been Broome, Bruce?  We have many artificial platforms
>constructed here in town as an alternative to them nesting on

There is an artificial platform used as an Osprey nest at the Byron Bay
Beach Resort, just north of Byron Bay. I suspect this is the one Bruce
meant.
