Hi Tony
You reaally need to be in the salt fields ST Kilda to Port Gawler section
Along side the salt bush expanse towards the Mangro line.
There are a couple of spots along the western track where small streams go
west wards, then all need is time to sit and wait to se the birds moving
along these
patches with eyes looking for yellow rumps. Best in summer when tracks are
save to drive on. You also must be authorised to entre the fields so as to
obtain a key for access.

Hi Birdos
I have tried to see Sleder-billed Thoirnbill at the back of Penrice salt
fields a few times in the last 6 months with no success
Has anyone got any other hot spots near Adelaide for this bird?
thanks in advance
