Am after the assistance of birdos who know or have visited the Bellarine Peninsula east of Geelong, Victoria.

Belcher (1914) mentions the possible extinction of King Quail at the following locality near Portarlington.  I cannot find it on any maps but presume it is the hills running sw away from Portarlington township.

Is anyone able to advise me more precisely where this area is so I can put an accurate grid reference to it for the Atlas of Victorian Wildlife?

cheers, Martin
