Gooday all,
Along with Del I have had a few unusual birds pop up in the Bowen region over the last month or so. Late May we had a lone Pink-eared Duck at Mullers Lagoon in the centre of Bowen. At Greenswamp Road out near Merinda a Brown Songlark has been sighted and lastly a Hooded Robin observed by Jill and Bob Knight plus 2 visitors on Hospital Hill Bowen last Saturday. I did seek clarification of this sighting and was assured that the black bib was observed to seperate the bird from the Trillers.
Bowen Show Day yesterday and we finally received a little bit of rain.
