We had an excellent weekend in the valley and saw a Regent Honeyeater
on the river at the Glenowlan Rd, a location described to me by Carol
Probets.
We stayed at the Capertee Valley Retreat, which also provided good birding, with 35 species seen on the property in a couple of walks, limited by poor light and drizzle. I was pleased with over 70 species for the weekend, given that it was not purely a birding break and will certainly go there again. I would like to thank David Geering for his bird list and advice and everyone who responded to my initial query. -- Susan Knowles -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
