Hi Birders,Simon Starr's report of a Bustard in Northern Victoria, may be relevent to the fact that on 17/4/05 a Bustard was reported from Wanganella HSD Wanganella, and from 20-24/4/05 one was residing in a TSR adjacent to the Deniliquin Airport, both locations in south-west NSW, not far from Victoria. Thanks to Phil Maher, the 16 or so members of the Central Coast Group of Birding NSW, camping out at Wanganella, were all able to get great views of the airport bird. Phil says that the airport bird was only the 3rd record for the Deniliquin District.
